180 Projects is pleased to present an exhibition of works by Michelle MacKinnon and Andrew Testa.

Michelle MacKinnon is an artist and educator currently living in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. MacKinnon graduated with an MFA (2015) and BFA (2013, Honours, Cum Laude) in Visual Arts from York University (Toronto, ON). She has participated in residencies at The Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff, AB), The Hermitage Museum(St. Petersburg, RU), and Spark Box Studios (Picton, ON), exhibited in various galleries across North America and Russia, with an upcoming solo exhibition at Alison Milne Gallery in 2018 (Toronto, ON), and is a two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant. MacKinnon is currently a sessional instructor at Algoma University (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) and has previously taught at York University and Memorial University of Newfoundland, Grenfell Campus (Corner Brook, NL).

Andrew Testa is an artist and educator who has taught across Canada at Algoma University (Sault Ste. Marie, ON), Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops, BC), and Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland (Corner Brook, NL). He received his BFA (2013) and MFA (2016) from York University (Toronto, ON), and was awarded the SSHRC scholarship, Elizabeth Greenshields Grant, and Samuel Sarick Purchase Prize for his thesis research. He has recently completed a residency at St. Michael’s Printshop (St. John’s, NL) and has shown in exhibitions across Canada with an upcoming solo exhibition at Martha Street Studio (Winnipeg, MB) in 2019.
